This bypass exam covers the fundamental concepts required for operation, maintenance, and performance of the diagnostic procedures of the FPS Series Radar, both the Transmitter and Solid State Receiver/ Digital Moving Target Indicator (SSR/ DMTI) Modification. This exam is open book. The student can use FAA Handbooks, Schematics, TIBS, Formula Sheets, Troubleshooting Guides, Submitted Errata sheets, Lab books, and personal notes.
