This course provides leaders with knowledge and skill to successfully integrate quality management throughout the workplace. Proactive leadership plays a vital role in Flight Standards continuous improvement. Our Quality Management System provides the workforce with an industry recognized plan, do, check, act methodology to continuously improve by integrating quality into daily activities. Students will gain a deeper understanding of this methodology from a leader perspective, through lecture, demos, exercises, and hands-on application using automation tools, while applying critical thinking, interdependence and consistency. This course is required for Flight Standards Managers, Frontline Managers, PORs, assistant PORs, FSEP Auditors, and AR Facilitators. New managers, PORs and assistant PORs shall complete this course within 18 months of assignment.
