| The SAS Data Schema I course will provide students the knowledge and skills to query the SAS database to extract data that can be used for further analysis, custom reports, and other analytical and reporting purposes. NOTE: The primary target audience is Flight Standards Operations Research Analysts (ORA), and select MPAs that meet certain conditions. This course does not teach students about SQL database concepts, how to use SQL query tools or any other technical concepts unrelated to the SAS database. This course is intended for: Flight Standards ORAs Office of Hazardous Materials Safety (AXH) ORAs Management Program Analysts (MPA)s who work in AFB-400 In addition to the course prerequisites, students must have: Current access to the IAMCDCPVDB307 Server Experience with Tableau Desktop and Prep Experience with SQL Please note the course has several course prerequisites. One of the prerequisites is the FAA21000125 ASI SAS Interactive Training course. Students having difficulty enrolling in the 21000125 course should contact their division's Training Coordinator point of contact for assistance. Special arrangements regarding the 21000125 course prerequisite may be available on a case by case basis. Although not a prerequisite, the following two courses are recommended: 1. FAA21000150 Continual Operational Safety (COS) of a Safety Management System (SMS) using SAS. 2. FAA21000126 14 CFR 135/145 PI & Manager SAS Interactive Training, or FAA21000127 14 CFR 121 PI & Manager SAS Interactive Training | |||
