(21406) En Route Inspection - Airworthiness
COURSE 2004-03-04
This course is designed for airworthiness aviation safety inspectors (ASI's) that perform surveillance of air carrier programs. Other ASI specialties and internationals may attend the course. The course consists of lecture, discussion, and exercises and simulation in the following areas: Introduction and history; TSA and security; Preparation and preflight; Cockpit en route; Cabin en route; and documentation; and follow up of inspection results. EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2007, Course 27027, Introduction to 21st Century Electronic Aircraft, is a prerequisite to 21406 for all AFS Airworthiness (Maintenance and Avionics ASIs).
