| This mini-course is one in a series of overviews of technical topics in the Systems Engineering Curriculum. The purpose of this course is to introduce participants to the concept, purpose, policies, and history underlying Time-Limited Dispatch (TLD), as well as to analysis techniques (Fault Tree and Markov Modeling for reliability). The training will provide you with the basic concepts of Time-Limited Dispatch, as it applies to engines fitted with Full Authority Digital Electronic Controls (FADEC).
