This course is limited to Aircraft Certification Service personnel only and requires registration via your local ATM. This self-paced course consists of four modules. Primarily video based, the course requires viewing of Chasing the Sun: A Century of Flight, which is based on the book, Turbulent Skies: The History of Commercial Aviation, written by T.A. Heppenheimer. Contemplative activities, brief contextual readings (accessible via eLMS), and assessments are also included in the course design. The completion time for each module is 60-90 minutes. Target Audience(s): This course is recommended for Aircraft Certification Service non-technical professionals with limited or no knowledge of the aviation industry. Prerequisite(s): There are no pre-requisites to this course; however, it is recommended the course be completed in conjunction with orientation, and in close proximity to AVS 101 Webinar.
