| This on-line course assists ASEs in assessing applicant data for satisfaction of Model Based Development assurance criteria. The course is optional for eligible non-FAA individuals through the AVS Designee Registration System. TOPICS: MBD Guidance, Planning Data Evaluation, Development Data Evaluation, and Interaction between Systems and Software Development. Course requires prior working knowledge of DO-178B and C (or EUROCAE equivalent). MATERIALS: Participants must provide their own copies of RTCA DO-178C and DO-331 (or EUROCAE equivalents). RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: FAA22005004 or an equivalent DO-178 course. | |||
