FAA Order 8000.95 establishes policy for integrated designee management and the use of the Designee Management System (DMS). All users must familiarize themselves with its contents and comply with the instructions and guidance. Many of the procedural functions are not included in the order since they are now incorporated into the functionality of the DMS. This training provides manufacturing Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI) with awareness to some IT tool changes as well as clarification of initial and recurrent training for applicant designees and designees. After completion of this course, you will be able to identify the designee post activity reporting requirements and determine the type of initial training that is required for applicant designees and the correct recurrent training requirements for manufacturing designees.
