Provide electrical glove safety awareness and train on proper use/care of electrical gloves. This training applies to all employees qualified to work on or near energized equipment. During this training we will discuss 7 sections: why and when electrical gloves are required, the minimum voltage which glove use is required, the effects that different levels of amps have on the human body when a person experiences an electrical shock, when to use electrical gloves before entering an approach boundary, the requirement of the limited approach, restricted approach, and arc flash boundaries, what type of electrical glove to use and how to protect the gloves from damage.
