| One of the key leadership challenges of our time is to find new ways to harness the innovation, technology, networks, and problem-solving skills of the private sector, in partnership with others, to support transportation safety and development goals. And to do so in a manner that makes sound business sense and does not replace or undermine the role of government. This session underscores the importance of forming and sustaining partnerships, particularly as it relates to the function of civil rights, and the responsibilities each partner has in contributing to program success.
