(30202712) Responding to Employees Alleging Violations of Whistleblower Protections
BRIEFING 2021-01-15
On October 26, 2017, President Donald J. Trump signed into law the Dr. Chris Kirkpatrick Whistleblower Protection Act of 2017 (S. 585). The measure fills gaps in current protections, enhances accountability for whistleblower retaliation, and increases awareness of whistleblower protections. One of the provisions of the law is the requirement that heads of each agency shall provide training to all supervisors regarding how to respond to complaints alleging a violation of whistleblower protections. This course is designed to satisfy this requirement.
