This course provides training to the Technical Operations Technician on the Direct Current (DC) BUS System. This course contains DC Bus fundamentals, FAA maintenance documentation, and Maintenance, repair, and operation of Marconi DC BUS Systems. For Vertiv Netsure Systems, this course is required as a prerequisite to (48343013) 2ND GEN DC BUS OAT WORKSHOP. The course is 16.5 hours of web based training. Course subjects provide detailed Technical Training consisting of the Theory of Operation of a Vortex Power System, VRLA Battery Maintenance, Review of Proper Test Procedures, application scenarios on the LMS 1000 Monitoring System, Adjustments, Calibrations, Troubleshooting, and Preventative Maintenance.
