| This field conducted on-the-job training (OJT) course provides the laboratory training for Airway Facilities specialists and engineers who have successfully completed course Back-Up Emergency Communications (BUEC) Remote-Site course FAA47500. This 8-hour field-conducted laboratory for BUEC transceivers and control systems, types FA-8190 and FA-8191 includes coordination of maintenance activities with ATC, BUEC transmitter alignment and performance checks, and BUEC receiver alignment and performance checks. Students must successfully complete both courses FAA47500 and FAA45037 prior to attempting certification on the BUEC remote site. | |||
