NASE Familiarization Orientation is an instructor led duty time event that establishes a deliberate and structured approach for orienting new employees and contractors to NASE specific administrative policies, processes, and products. Additionally, it will provide an overview of the organization, mission, and strategic objectives. Delivery is intended to be lecture with PowerPoint and video supplements. Goals and Objectives This effort will provide a whole plan to provide employees and contractors with familiarization tools and workshops to address deficiencies in the organization. Primary goals include: 1) Establish a deliberate and structured approach for orienting new employees and contractors. 2) Establish a method for informing existing employees and contractors when there are changes to policies, products, and processes. 3) Provide an introduction to NASE specific tools. 4) Introduce employees and contractors to existing resources that are available (videos, websites, policies, and procedures). 5) Supplement mentoring activities provided by Section Managers and Senior Engineers throughout second level engineering.
