This course will provide the skills and knowledge to the participants to describe safe, defensive driving procedures. Course should include, but not be limited to, the following topics: Applicable FAA, Federal, state and local regulations FAA vehicle safety program Vehicle preparation, inspection, and check-out FAA accident reporting procedures Safety equipment in vehicles Defensive driving techniques Vehicle emergency procedures (e.g. breakdowns, flat tires, fires, brake failure) Night driving and driver fatigue Driving techniques for extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, rain, ice, fog)
