| The Emergency Trauma Technician training program is 40 hours in length and teaches the basics of emergency medical care. This course covers the following topics of assessment of the patient, airway management, medical emergencies, bleeding, shock and soft-tissue injuries, muscle and bone injuries, child birth and multiple-casualty incidents, triage, and the incident management systems and first responder roles and responsibilities. This training is provided in remote locations where 911 may not be present for hours or even days. | |||
