Students who have completed this course before January 2013, but who need to learn about composite inspections, are encouraged to take the course again. The purpose of the NDIE course is to provide participants with familiarization of: Major nondestructive inspection (NDI) methods, Composite inspection methodology, Requirements for FAA approved facilities and operators utilizing NDI procedures. The role of the AFS ASI is as an NDI auditor and evaluator, not as a NDI inspector or expert. | |||
