This course is for technical operations specialists, support, and developmental personnel. The course is 64 hours online eLMS instruction consisting of 15 hours of video lecture, 42.5 hours for self study, and 6.5 hours for testing. The course is broken into 3 blocks DC, AC, and Solid State/Digital. Topics covered include: Ohm's and Kirchhoff's laws; parallel and compound circuits; AC sine wave and power characteristics; AC generator theory; harmonics and transformer characteristics; rectification, filtering and regulation; and basic semiconductor theory.
