This four day course provides the fundamental knowledge inspectors need to evaluate an operatorís air cargo operations as part of both certification and continued operational oversight activities.

This course is for Aviation Safety Inspectors tasked with certification and surveillance responsibilities for both general aviation and FAA certificated operations. Industry would benefit if they are owners and/or operators of aircraft that carry cargo.
The course covers the following topics: The Air Cargo Operating Environment, Cargo Operations and Weight and Balance, Aircraft Cargo Configurations and Cargo Restraint Systems, Cargo Management System, Hazmat and Cargo Operations, Cargo Handling Considerations for Small Aircraft, Part 91 and Part 135 (9 or less) and ASI Oversight for Cargo Operations.
