DESCRIPTION

This 35 day (280 hours) course provides training for Technical Operations technicians, engineers, and specialists on the Airport Surveillance Radar-11 (ASR-11). This course is 124 hours Academy lecture and 156 hours Academy laboratory.

OBJECTIVES

Given references, the student will be able to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) -11 in accordance with the FAA Order and Technical Instruction Books (TIBs).

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course provides training for electronic technicians and engineers responsible for operating, maintaining, and certifying/verifying normal operation of the ASR-11.
